Write for us!

We aim to help designers, marketers, and creatives discover insightful articles about design, the modern web, and the user-experience design.

What To Write About?

The goal of our blog is to publish the best, most inspirational content about design, branding and creativity on the internet. It’s aimed at self-starters (entrepreneurs, freelancers, self-publishing authors, etc), designers (both new and experienced) and people who work at agencies.

We love articles that give tips, offer practical advice, espouse opinions, teach, explain and inspire. We publish articles in the following categories:

  • Design Basics & Tutorials
  • Design resources
  • Logo & Branding
  • Web, UI & UX Design
  • Marketing & Advertising
  • Design Inspiration
  • Famous design & designers
  • Creative thinking

What We consider to be a good article?

A good article:

  • Is focused on our target audience.
  • Provides useful, tangible advice.
  • Is well structured so readers can easily glean information.
  • Does not have a lot of grammatical or spelling errors.
  • Is on a topic you can speak about with authority.
  • Has a strong, fun voice.

Our style (tl;dr edition)

Write in a casual and personal yet knowledgeable style, as if you were talking to a friend.
Aim for clarity above wit, though you get extra points for managing both.
Be concise when you can. Don’t bury the lede.
Use subheads, images, lists, blockquotes, and other structural devices frequently to make your story easily skimmable and engaging.
And please keep in mind:
You must have the right to use any image you include, and each image should include a caption. Make sure your graphics included actually support your point(s), and aren’t just there for decoration.

No selling of your product, please! Make the focus more about the value your post can impart, or simply the story itself.

Don’t send us content that you’ve already posted somewhere else. And definitely don’t copy someone else’s work.
